Dr Dwight Turner, psychotherapist and dynamic and interactive speaker, will be exploring 'polarities in the age of Trump and Sunak'; looking at the world we live within right now, with political challenges, conflicts across the world and the rise of the popular right. Increasing political polarisation can lead to splits in communities, families and ultimately within ourselves and Dwight will suggest ways that we can start to realign these splits, find empathy and reconnected with our communities.

Dwight speaks on issues of race, difference and intersectionality at inter/national conferences and runs workshops for universities, charities and private organisations. He is course leader of Humanistic Counselling & Psychotherapy at University of Brighton, research supervisor at their Doctoral College, and a practising psychotherapist. Publications include: 'The Psychology of Supremacy' (2023), ‘Intersections of Privilege and Otherness in Counselling and Psychotherapy' (2021).
